Academic inquiries

I welcome correspondence from researchers, PhD students and academics working on health economics, health technology assessment, decision-analytic modelling, prescribing economics, pharmaceutical policy and related methods. This includes collaboration proposals, peer-review requests and methodological questions.

When contacting about a specific publication, please include the title or DOI. For collaboration proposals, a brief description of the project and your institutional affiliation is helpful.

Media and policy mentions

Specific press articles, policy-document citations and public references are added here only when there is a working link to the original third-party source.

A note on this section

This section is deliberately conservative. It includes only references that can be checked through a working third-party link or archived record. If you have seen Dr Baines's work cited in a report, article, lecture or media item that is not listed here, please send the link so it can be verified, archived and added.

Corrections and record updates

If you believe a page on this site contains an error, please include the following in your message:

  • The page URL
  • The sentence or claim concerned
  • The reason you believe it is incorrect
  • Any source that helps verify the correction
